Sallie Mae McAdams

Graveside services for Sallie Mae McAdams were held March 12, 1993, at Antioch Cemetery. Rev. Pete Shirley and Rev. Ed Holloman officiated.
   Mrs. McAdams, age 73, of Star Route, Shubuta, passed away on March 9, 1993, at H.C. Watkins Hospital.
   Survivors include one son, Dennis Earl McAdams, Shubuta; and one brother, Hayward Godwin, Quitman.


Mary Edna Gilmore

Graveside services for Mary Edna Gilmore were held March 11, 1993, at Providence Cemetery. Rev. Mark Thead officiated.
   Mrs. Gilmore, age 76, of Quitman, passed away on March 9, 1993, at Archusa Convalescent Center.
   Survivors include a husband, William C. Gilmore, Stonewall; two sisters, Bennie Lee Hillhouse, Walker, LA; and Lillie Massey, Forest.


John Henry Priester

Services for John Henry Priester were held on March 11, 1993, at Stonewall Baptist Church with burial in the Union Church Cemetery. Rev. Albert McMullan officiated.
   Mr. Priester, age 90, of Stonewall, passed away on March 9, 1993, at Riley's Hospital.
   Survivors include his wife, Margaret Priester, Stonewall; one son, Robert Priester, Meridian; and one brother, Jake D. Priester, Enterprise.


Eula Price

Services for Eula Price were held February 15, 1993, with burial at Valhalla Cemetery in Mobile.
   Miss Price, formerly of Rt. 3 Quitman, and a resident of Mobile for the past eight years, passed away on February 11, 1993, in Mobile. She was a resident of Quitman for many, many years.
   She is survived by five sisters: Ora Anderson, Quitman; Mattie Gibson and Florence Yates, Mobile; Annie Floy Williams and Eunice Bartee, Baytown, TX; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.


James William McNeill, Jr.

Services for James William McNeill, Jr were held March 2, 1993, at Bumper's Funeral Home Chapel in Butler, and burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Quitman. Rev. Franklin McLelland officiated.
   Mr. McNeill, age 66, of Butler, passed away on February 28, 1993, at Choctaw Community Hospital.
   Survivors include his wife, Edna McNeill, Butler; two sons, Jimmy Dale McNeill, and Doug McNeill, both of Butler; a daughter, Carolyn M. Hearn, Butler; two brothers, Charles McNeill, Hattiesburg; and George McNeill, Memphis; two sisters, Betty Daley, Los Almos, N.M.; and Margaret Wisner, Temple, TX; and four grandchildren.
   The family has requested in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Calvary Baptist Church building fund in Butler.
