Eunice Bartee

Services for Eunice Bartee were held on May 27, 1993, at White Chapel Funeral home in Baytown, TX, with burial in the White Chapel Cemetery in Highlands. Rev. Tommy Jackson and Rev. Carroll Lansford officiated.
   Mrs. Bartee, age 84, of Baytown, TX, passed away on May 24, 1993, in a Baytown hospital.
   Survivors include two daughters, May Hollan Daniels of Baytown and Jessie Maurine Mason and husband, Marcus, of Baytown; four sisters, Florence Yates, Mobile; Annie Floy Williams, Baytown; Mattie Gibson, Mobile; and Ora Anderson, Quitman; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.


Harold Lennox Riley

Services for Lennox Riley were held Thursday, May 27, 1993, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Wright's Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Chaney and Rev. Elton Brand officiating. Burial was in the Stonewall Cemetery. Wright's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
   Mr. Riley, 81, of Stonewall, died Tuesday, May 25, 1993, at H. C. Watkins Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Stonewall, and a member of the Masonic Order, Wilson Lodge, and also a member of the Eastern Star, Stonewall. Mr. Riley served as a sargeant in the Army of the United States during World War II. In addition to the operating his own business in Stonewall for the last fifty-two years, Mr. Riley was a farmer and cattleman.
   Survivors include his wife, Myrtle W. Riley, Stonewall; a sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Gilchrist, Chunchula, Ala.; a brother, Roy Riley, Purvis; and a host of nieces and nephews.
   Pallbearers included John Gary Riley, Calvin Riley, John Edward Gilchrist, John Slay, Durwood McNeil, and Harry Pugh.


John C. (Candy) Price, Sr.

Services for John C. Price, Sr., will be held June 2, 1993, at 2:00 p.m. at the Pearlie Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Advial McKenzie will officiate.
   Mr. Price passed away on May 26, 1993, at the University Medical Center in Jackson.
   Survivors include his wife, Sara Lee; four sons, John C. Price, Sr., of Waynesboro; Tony R. Price, Londell M. Price, and D'Marcus Price, all of Quitman; four daughters, Doretha McCarty, Addie Price, Shefrelia Price, all of Quitman; Margaretha Cole, Bailey; two brothers, Sullivan Price, Jr., Quitman, and Irving Price, Washington, D.C.; and nine grandchildren.
