Michael Matte

Services for Michael Matte were held on May 19, 1993, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Stonewall Cemetery. Rev. Mark Thead officiated.
   Mr. Matte, age 38, of Rt. 2 Enterprise, passed away on May 17, 1993, at Anderson's Hospital.
   Survivors include a son, Michael Larwence Matte, Schriver, LA; a daughter, J. Michelle Matte, Schriver, LA; his fiance, Carol Neal, Enterprise; father, Arthur Matte, Lake Charles, LA; three brothers, Arthur Matte, Jr., and Carl Matte, both of Iowa, LA; and Antony Michael Matte, Lake Charles, LA; and one sister, Susan Matte.


Otis Lamar Mason

Services for Otis Lamar Mason were held on May 20, 1993, at Shubuta Baptist Church with burial in the Hepzibah Cemetery. Rev. Timothy Meyers officiated.
   Mr. Mason, age 73, of Shubuta, passed away on May 17, 1993, at H. C. Watkins Hospital.
   Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Vivian W. Mason, Shubuta; four sons, Thomas Mark Mason, Soule, Korea; Gary Lamar Mason, Lithia Springs, GA; Larry Edward Mason, Daytona Beach, FL; and Michael Otis Mason, Moses Lake, Washington; one daughter, Anita Frichter, Montgomery, AL; two brothers, Lewis Mason, Tampa, FL; and Mark Mason, Shubuta; two sisters, Lucille Brashier and Evelyn McCoy, both of Shubuta; and seven grandchildren.


Ava Ruth Crane

Services for Ava Ruth Crane were held on May 23, 1993, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Stonewall Cemetery. Rev. Danny Crane officiated.
   Mrs. Crane, age 79, of Stonewall, passed away on May 20, 1993, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
   Survivors include four sons, Houston Crane, Jim Crane, Walter M. Crane, all of Stonewall; and Spencer Crane, Collinsville; three daughters, Anita Lee, Crosby, TX; Doris Crane and Barbara An McMichael, both of Stonewall; one brother, Grady Robinson, Hanford, CA; five sisters, Minnie Hovis, Melborne, FL; Myrtie McMichael, Covington, LA; Naomi Freeman, Houston, TX; Sadie Fikes, Rose Hill; and Audrey Ethridge, Collinsville; twenty-eight grandchildren; thirty-nine great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.


William Curtis Doggett

Services for William Curtis Doggett were held on May 19, 1993, at Cooper's Chapel Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Harold Moore, Rev. Jerry Sewell, and Rev. Cottonbrook officiated.
   Mr. Doggett, age 77, of Rt. 4 Quitman, passed away on May 17, 1993, at his residence.
   Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Virgie Doggett, Quitman; three sons, Wayne Doggett, Randall Doggett, and Gary Doggett, all of Quitman; two daughters, Carolyn Wade, Quitman, and Dena Rowell, Vossburg; one brother, Haskel Doggett, Quitman; one sister, Eleanor Griffin, Quitman; fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.


Michelle Miller Holifield

   Mrs. Holifield, age 25, of Quitman, passed away on April 27, 1993, at Rush Hospital.
   Survivors include a husband, Kevin Holifield, Quitman; two sons, Justin Darrell Williams and Jeremy Lee Williams, both of Waynesboro; a daughter, Samantha LeighAnn Williams, Quitman; parents, Harold and Marie Miller, Waynesboro; two brothers, Mart Harrison, Waynesboro; Bryan Keith Biggs, McComb; one sister, Cherele Rena Griffith, Butler, AL.
