  Mrs. Elsie Winnie Taylor of Quitman, Rt. 3, passed away Jan. 27 of a Laurel hospital at the age of 56.
   Funeral services were held Jan. 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Patten officiating with interment in the church cemetery.
   She is survived by her husband, Joe A. Taylor; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Swanner, Meridian, Mrs. Faye McCraney, Quitman; two sons, Paul Goldman, Albert Taylor, both of Quitman; three sisters, Mrs. Mamie Ward, Mrs. Mollie Hill and Mrs. Faye White all of Meridian; one brother, Lloyd Downs, Winnie, Texas; and nine grandchildren.
