  Services for Joseph Alonzo Taylor, 82, of Route 3, Quitman, were held Friday at 2 p.m. in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. The Rev. Bill Patton officiated. Interment was in the church cemetery under direction of Wright Funeral Home.
   Mr. Taylor died Wednesday at his residence.
   Survivors include a son, Albert Taylor, Quitman; two daughters, Mrs. Glara Tucker, Gainesville, Fla., and Mrs. Faye McCraney, Quitman; a stepson, Paul Goldman, Quitman; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Mildred Swaner, Meridian; a brother, Sam Taylor, Quitman; 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
