Hilda Mae Griffith (1914-2000)

Hilda Mae Griffith was born about 1914 in Mississippi. She died on 29 December 2000 in Mobile, Alabama. She married George Cleveland Taylor on 27 September 1930 in Clarke, Mississippi.

   Hilda Mae Taylor, a retired employee of International Paper Co. and a member of The Order of the Eastern Star, died Friday at a local health care facility. She was 86.
   Mrs. Taylor, a native of Quitman and a longtime resident of Mobile County, is survived by seven grandchildren, Betty J. Massingill of Irvington, Jewel V. Andrews, Cindy Roberts and James E. Taylor, all of Mobile, Shirley Hall of Huntsville, Bonnie McGuinness of Houston and George T. Taylor of Semmes; a sister, Esther Ivey of Enterprise; 21 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren.
   A graveside service and burial will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
