  Services for Mrs. Virgie Louise Smith, 75, were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Northup Chapel Baptist Church with Revs. Leon Chatham, J.C. Williams and Ed Holloman officiating. Interment was in Covington Cemetery with Wright Funeral Home in charge.
   Mrs. Smith died Friday at Rush Hospital in Meridian. She is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. Faye White, Louisville, Mrs. Ed Cook, Mrs. Bernice Reeves, Mrs. Sally Mae Stewart, Mrs. Geraldine Robinson, Mrs. Earline Reeves, and Mrs. Bobby Reynolds all of Quitman; three sons, Earnest, Jack and Ray Smith, all of Moss Point; four brothers, Joe Taylor, W.C. (Bill) Taylor, Sam and Austin Taylor, all of Quitman; 37 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
