Fleeta Jolly

Services for Mrs. Fleeta Jolly were held Monday, November 22, 1993, at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel of Union, with Rev. Claude Killian officiating. Burial was in Enon Cemetery, Union, MS.
   Mrs. Jolly, age 88, passed away in H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
   Survivors include two sons, Billy James, Quitman and Whitman James, Clearwater, FL one step-son, Frank James, Marietta, GA ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.


Angela Renee Roquemore

Graveside services for Angela Renee Roquemore, the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Roquemore, were held Monday, November 29, 1993, at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev. Dennis Coats officiated.
   The infant died Tuesday, November 23, 1993, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.
   Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Roquemore, Quitman; one brother, Stephen Roquemore, Quitman; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Roquemore, San Antonio, TX; and Mr. George Willest, Vero Bearch, FL.
   Wright's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.


Bertha Mae Nichols

Services for Bertha Mae Nichols were held on Wednesday, November 24, 1993, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jimmie Garrard, Dr. John Stevens and Rev. Jerry Doggett officiated. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
   Mrs. Nichols passed away Monday, November 22, 1993 at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg.
   Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Phil and Irene Nichols, Leland, MS; one daughter and son-in-law, Lynda Sue and Jerry Doggett, Petal, MS; one brother, Isaac P. Moore, Jr. Quitman; two sisters, Sue Clarke, Quitman and Thyra Sims, Bay Springs; MS four grandchildren, Nikki Doggett Petty and Doug Doggett of Petal, MS; Drew Nichols, Leland, MS; and Tom Nichols, Shaw, MS.
   Wright's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.


Jessie E. Smith

Services for Jessie E. Smith were held Wednesday, November 24, 1993, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Albert Creel officiating. Burial was in East Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
   Mr. Smith died Tuesday, November 23, 1993, in Riley's Hospital, Meridian.
   Survivors include: wife, Mrs. Carrie Smith, Quitman; one daughter, Bobbie Jean Ivy, Avondale, LA; one brother, Jasper Smith, Raleigh, MS; two sisters, Helen Arnder, Raleigh, MS. and Adell Black, Forest, MS; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.


Loren Darryl Pierce

Graveside services for Loren Darryl Pierce were held Friday, November 26, 1993, at Manassa Methodist Church. Rev. Buddy Braddock officiated.
   Mr. Pierce, age 29, died on Wednesday, November 24, 1993, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
   Survivors include his mother, Mayrene Pierce, Quitman; one sister, Phyllis E. Pierce, Meridian.


W.N. Sonny McRee

Services for Mr. W.N. Sonny McRee were held on Friday, November 19, 1993, at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel in Monroe, LA, with Dr. Bryant Barnes officiating. Burial was in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
   Mr. McRee, age 82, passed away on November 15, 1993, in Baton Rouge, LA.
   Survivors include his wife, Bronis McRee, Monroe; one son, Norman Neville McRee, Texas; on daughter, Shelia (McRee) Brumfield, Baton Rouge, LA; two sisters, Florine (McRee) Gonzales, Rayville, LA, Doris (McRee) Musick, Swartz, LA, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
   Mr. McRee was born in Theadville, MS, in October 1911. His parents were the late Neb and Mattie Carmichael McRee. Mr. McRee left Clarke County at an early age and lived most of his life in Monroe, LA. Mr. McRee has many cousins living in Clarke County.
