Agnes Mae Allen
The Clarke County Tribune
Services for Agnes Mae Allen were held on September 14, 1993 at Pine Grove Baptist Church with burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Rev. Buddy Braddock officiated.
   Mrs. Allen, age 76, of Quitman, passed away on September 11, 1993, at University Hospital in Jackson.
   Survivors include two sons, Larry C. Allen, Quitman, and Stan Allen, Smyrna, GA; one daughter, Brenda Bordeaux, Los Angeles, CA; one sister, Sarah Nowell, Laurel; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.


James Herbert Roberts

Services for James Herbert Roberts were held on September 16, 1993 at Shady Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Rev. Mark Thead and Rev. W. C. Wells officiated.
   Mr. Roberts, age 87, of Quitman, passed away on September 14, 1993 at Anderson's Hospital.
   Survivors include a wife, Mary C. Roberts, Quitman; two sons, Leslie Roberts, Shubuta and Wayne Roberts, Quitman; three daughters, Agnes Gable, Laurel, Bobbie Atwood, Mobile, and Duanne Roberts, Melvin; one sister, Ethel Roberts, Quitman; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.


Willie Mae Smith

Services for Willie Mae Smith were held on September 8, 1993 at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Goodwater Cemetery. Dr. Sharber Smith officiated.
   Mrs. Smith, age 94, of Beaverdam Community, passed away September 6, 1993 at Archusa Convalescent Center.
   Survivors include one son, Clarence R. Smith, Heidelberg; one daughter, Mrs. Allie Marie Tynes, Chickasaw, AL; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.


Ronald Malcolm Young
The Clarke County Tribune
A memorial service of Ron Young will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 1993, at 209 Church Street, Quitman. Rev. Chip Colee will be officiating for family and close friends.
   Mr. Young passed away September 18, at his residence in Jacksonville, FL.
   Survivors include his mother, Hazel Young of Quitman; two sisters, Shirley Poythress of Brandon, and Suzanne Priester of Quitman; two brothers, Tommy Young of Mobile and Jim Young of Meridian; five nieces and two nephews.
   He is preceded in death by his father, Mr. Tom Young.
   The family request memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Quitman.
