Services for Ada Jewel Harrison were held on February 25, 1994, at Hebron Baptist Church, Little Rock, MS, with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Lloyd Brown officiated.
Mrs. Harrison, age 95, of Eight Mile, AL, passed away on February 22, 1994, at Mobile Infirmary.
Survivors include one son, Leslie Carl Harrison, Eight Mile, AL; three daughters, Beatrice Griffith, Mobile, AL; Angie Harris, Shubuta; and Esther Jewell Griffith, Eight Mile, AL; one brother, Perire L. Ishee, McClain, MS; two sisters, Gladys Motley and Dorothy Williams, both of Meridian; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Gladys Newton Howell Powers

Services for Gladys Newton Howell Powers will be held Saturday, March 5, 1994, at Zions Rest Cemetery, Eucutta, Wayne County at 11:00 a.m.
Mrs. Powers, age 73, passed away on February 22, 1994, at her home in Hayward, CA.
Survivors include one son, Robert Trahan, Hayward, CA; one sister, Joy McMullian, Kenner, LA; and three grandchildren.
Leroy McGrew

Services for Leroy McGrew will be held on March 3, 1994, at 4:00 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Mr. McGrew, age 55, of Summerville, SC, passed away on February 25, 1994, at his residence.
He was born December 8, 1938 at Mayersville, MS. He was the son of Claude A. McGrew and Mittie Dew McGrew. He attended Quitman High School and graduated from Trident Technical College with an Associates Degree. He was a former member of Antioch Baptist Church and present member of Jedburg Baptist Church.
He was retired Master Sgt. USAF, and Grand Master with the Masonic Lodge in Grange, TX.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra McGrew, Summerville; three sons, Staff Sgt. Daniel L. McGrew, Summerville; Cpl. David L. McGrew, Camp Pendleton, CA; and John A. McGrew, Thorndale, Texas; one daughter, Sandra Dannette Elliott, San Marcus, Texas; mother, Mittie D. McGrew, Hanahan, SC; five brothers, Chester A. McGrew, Hanahan, SC; William A. McGrew, Round-O, SC; Hardy H. McGrew, Salters, SC; Orville E. McGrew, N. Chase, SC; and Tony R. McGrew, Norman, Oklahoma; two sisters, Ester Boykin, Quitman; and Poly Storres, Manning, SC; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 2, from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Wrights Funeral Home.
Maggie Laura Dearman Prince

Graveside services for Maggie Laura Dearman Prince were held March 1, 1994, at the Stonewall Cemetery with Rev. Clairborn Dearman officiating.
Ms. Prince passed away on February 27, 1994, Archusa Convalescent Center.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
