Herbert L. Gerald, Sr., 77, Buckner, MO., died July 28, 1994, at the Independence Regional Health Center.
Mr. Gerald was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and lived in Plainview, Texas, before moving to Buckner in 1959. He was a sales agent for MFA Insurance, retiring in 1983. Previously, he had been a sales representative and district manager for Sealed Power, an automotive supply company in Michigan.
Mr. Gerald was a member of the United Methodist Church in Buckner.
H was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Ararat Shine Temple. He married Lillie M. Daniels on December 22, 1940.
His survivors include his wife, Lillie, Buckner; two sisters, Virginia Harris, Rochester, Indiana; and Mildred Gerald, Chattanooga, Tennessee; a granddaughter, Ashely C. Gerald and a daughter-in-law, Ruth Gerald, both of Shawnee Mission, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his son, Herbert L. Gerald, II in October 1990.
