Services for Doris Johnson Lee were held July 28, 1994, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Providence Cemetery.
Mrs. Lee, 52, of Chathom, Alabama, died July 25, 1994, at her residence.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Shelia Agee, Birmingham, AL; two brothers, McRae Johnson, Carmichael; and Bill Johnson, Meridian; four sisters, Mrs. Margie Dyess and Mrs. Polly Covington, Quitman; Mrs. Nellie Martin, Shubuta; and Mrs. Fredna Wittig, Glendale; three grandchildren, Elisha Long, Misha Long and Lakisha Long.
Thora Hall Dearman

Mrs. Thora Hall Dearman, age 68, of #101 Lindsey Drive, Garden Lakes, died Saturday morning at 6:15 a.m. at her residence.
A native of Monroe County, Mississippi, Mrs. Dearman was born on September 18, 1925, the daughter of the late Edgar S. and Lena Millican Hall. For a period of time Mrs. Dearman resided in Floyd County, lived in Stonewall from 1954 until 1977 and had lived back in Rome since 1985. She was a member of the Fellowhsip Baptist Church and at the time of her death was associated with Hess's Department Store as a sales manager. Mrs. Dearman was married on March 5, 1949 to William Carey Dearman who preceded her in death in 1985.
Survivors include three daughters, Darrene Hall of Marietta, Ga.; Deborah Dearman Devitt of Rome and Ladonna Scheppee of Rome; two sisters, Mrs. Norma Combest of Stonewall and Mrs. Rzenne Hollingshhead of Butler, Ala.; one brother, Wayne Hall of Meridian; four grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Dearman were held Monday, August 1, 1994 at 11 o'clock from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home. Rev. Jamison Work officiated.
Graveside services followed at the Stonewall Cemetery. Rev. Taylor Wallace officiated.
