Valeria Agnes Kennedy

Services for Valeria Agnes Kennedy were held January 11, 1995, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Stonewall Cemetery. Rev. Burk officiated.
   Mrs. Kennedy, 76, of Westego, Louisiana, died January 8, 1995, at West Jefferson Medical Center in Marrero, Louisiana.
   Survivors include three sons, Jimmy Christian, Avondale, LA; John Kennedy, Hattiesburg; and Ray Kennedy, Waggaman, LA; two brothers, Robert Hatley, Mobile, AL; William Alford Hatley, Pelahatchie, MS; three sisters, Nell Johnson, Quitman; Francis Tanner, Charleston, South Carolina; and Bessie Booker, Meridian; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by a son, Arvin Kennedy.


Isaac Curtis Martin

Services for Isaac Curtis Martin were held January 11, 1995, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev. John Stevens and Dr. James A. Ruffin officiated.
   Mr. Martin, 96, of Quitman, died January 9, 1995, at King Daughters Nursing Home in Meridian.
   Survivors include two sons, Bob Martin, Meridian; and Bill Martin, Mobile, AL; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.


Russell Perkins

Services for Russell Wayne Perkins were held December 26, 1994, at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, Ala., with burial in the New Hope Cemetery. Charles Medlock officiated.
   Mr. Perkins, 37, of Bear Creek, Ala., died December 24, 1994, at his residence.
   Survivors include three daughters, Jennifer Perkins, Quitman; Kelli Perkins, Jessie Perkins, both of Bear Creek; mother, Janette Jacobs, Haleyville; step-father, Darnell Jacobs, Haleyville; father, George S. Perkins, Tennessee; three brothers, Terry Perkins, Greg Jacobs, both of Haleyville; and Johnny Perkins, Bear Creek.
   Serving as pallbearers were Benny Bohannon, Chris Bohannon, Donnie Hill, Wayne Hulsey, Shane Husley and Wayman Cagle.


Eddie Lee Bender Williams

Services for Eddie Lee Bender Williams were held January 7, 1995, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Pachuta with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. J. F. Moore officaited.
   Mrs. Williams was born December 20, 1909 in Pachuta. She was the daughter of Mr. Columbus and Mrs. Ada Bender.
   She died January 1, 1995, at her residence.
   Survivors include daughters Mary Brumfield, Quitman; and Katie Willis, Newton; sons, L.C. Williams, Harvey, Ill.; Willie T. Williams, Cary, MS; Leo Williams, Pachuta; sister, Sadie groce, Cincinnati, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nine sisters-in-law, Mrs. Velma Williams, Mrs. Johnnie Lee Williams, Pachuta; Mrs. Selina Williams, Rose Hill; Mrs. Rosetta Cordice, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; Mrs. Lee Velma Williams, Atlanta, GA; Mrs. Naomi Bender, Mrs. Eliza Jane Bender, Pachuta; Mrs. Ruby L. Williams, Gary, Ind.; Mrs. Bama Williams, Pachuta; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.


Annie Smith Anderson

Services for Annie Smith Anderson were held on January 14, 1995, at Rolling Creek Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Billy Brumfield and Rev. John Edwards officiated.
   Mrs. Anderson, 79, of Quitman, died January 12, 1995, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
   Survivors include five brothers, Bernice Smith, Jack Smith and Garner Smith, all of Stonewall; Tillman Smith and J.M. Smith, both of Quitman; two sisters, Helen Odom, Stonewall, and Minnie Harwell, Collinsville; numerous nieces and nephews.
   She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Anderson.


Martha Ulmer Boles

Services for Martha Ulmer Boles were held January 17, 1995, at Stonewall Methodist Church with burial in the Stonewall Cemetery. Rev. Jay Rostochil and Rev. Broxie Hardestry officiated.
   Mrs. Boles, 89, of Stonewall, died January 14, 1995, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
   Survivors include her husband, William M. Boles, Stonewall; two sons, Leroy Boles, Tampa, Florida; and Robert Boles, Stonewall; three daughters, Maurine Owen, Pensacola, Florida; Opal McCurry, Abbeville, South Carolina; and Merle Long, Stonewall; a sister, Sara Touchstone, Little Rock, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
