Graveside services for Esther Albritton Thoma were held on January 6, 1995, at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Thoma, 94, died January 3, 1995, at West Volushia Hospital in Deland, Florida.
Survivors include a son, Francis W. Martin, Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren, William Earl Martin, Linda Kay Brown and Sandra Elaine Hall; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Shirley Peggy Sanderson Pruett

Services for Shirley Peggy Sanderson Pruett were held December 30, 1994, at James F. Webb Funeral Home in Newton followed with a graveside service at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Quitman.
Mrs. Pruett died December 26, 1994 in Newton.
Survivors include her husband, Winfred Lee Pruett, Newton; seven daughters, Gladys Miles Pruett, Quitman; Jessie Alford, Jackson; Eva Alford Duran, Bucatunna; Aline Sanderson Palmer, Jackson; Elizabeth Thornkill, Jackson; Jeanette McCraw, Jackson and Connie Ploss, Congress, Arizona; two sons, James Sanderson, Lambert, MS; and William Sanderson, Newton; 32 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mary Katherine Alexander

Services for Mary Katherine Alexander were held January 6, 1995, at Pine Grove Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Buddy Braddock and Rev. Winnie McMahon officiated.
Mrs. Alexander, 72, of Meridian, died January 4, 1995, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include a son, Roy M. Alexander, Meridian; three daughters, Mary Ann Hayes, Sumrall, MS; Jane Baucum and Lois Jones, both of Meridian; a sister, Elnora Crockett, Oxford; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
