Services for Roy Lee Roberts were held on September 18, 1994, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Antioch Cemetery. Rev. Lester Griffith and Rev. Bernice Fleming officiated.
Mr. Roberts, 88, of Quitman, died September 16, 1994, at Anderson's Hospital in Meridian.
Survivors include his wife, Eula Mae Roberts, Quitman; two sons, Roy W. Roberts, Hattiesburg; and Franklin Odell Roberts, Schertz, TX; three daughters, Lou Berne Widener, Quitman; Bonnie Jean Hunt, Carrolton, TX; and Linda Jo Hinsley, Quitman; four sisters, Mrs. Mildred Dennam, Theodore, AL; Mrs. Annie Murphy, Mrs. Delorise Allen and Mrs. Eunice Dennam, all of Saraland, AL; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Helen Blanche McClinton Couch

Services for Helen Blanche McClinton Couch were held September 19, 1994, at First United Methodist Church of Quitman with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Dr. Brian Scarbrough officiated.
Mrs. Couch, 73, of Quitman, died September 17, 1994, at H.C. Watkins Hospital of congested heart failure.
Survivors include a son, Walter C. Couch III, Houston, TX; two daughters, Helen Ann Riley, Quitman and Effie Anderson, Pascagoula; a brother, Raymond McClinton, Jackson; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Shanks, Quitman; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Lillie Mae Cross

Services for Lillie Mae Cross were held September 18, 1994, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Decatur Memorial Gardens. Rev. Grady Crowell officiated.
Mrs. Cross, 80, of Nashville, died September 15, 1994, at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville.
Survivors include a brother, James H. Cook, Indianapolis; three sisters, Ludie Harker, Madison, Wisconsin; Lois Goodwin, Vossburg; and Wilda Nelson, Nashville; and one grandson, Robert Clifton Cross (Bobby) and one great-grandchild, Tyler Cross.
