Services for Pauline E. Guy were held September 30, 1994, at Ryan Funeral Home in Madison, Wisconsin.
Mrs. Guy, 66, of Madison, Wisconsin, died September 27, 1994, at her home.
The former Pauline Boone was born May 22, 1928, in Meridian and has been a Madison resident since 1963.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Guy; five children, Cynthia Streb, Madison; Patricia Guy, Hawaii; Brian Guy, Madison; Michael Guy, Edgerton,; Rene Guy, Madison; mother, Pearlie Boone, Madison/Enterprise; two brothers, Robert Boone, Sachsee, Texas; William Boone, Parker, Florida; four grandchildren, Cynthia, Peter, Zachary and Nicholas; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is also survived by friends of her youth in Enterprise.
Francis Louise Terrell Alford

Services for Francis Alford were held October 8, 1994, at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home Chapel in Meridian with Bro. Dennis M. Hardaway officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Toomsuba, MS.
She was a member of the Little Hope Baptist Church in Toomsuba.
Mrs. Alford died October 3, 1994 at her home in Enterprise after a short illness. She was born in Toomsuba but moved to Clarke County in 1954.
Survivors include a husband, William Alford, Sr., and 14 children which include nine daughters and five sons: Everlene McGowan; France Grigsby, Ethel Clark, Lynda Clark, Sylvia Alford and Brenda Alford, Barnet, MS; Aileen Love, Moss Point; Benjamin Alford and Willie Alford, Enterprise; Alfonzo Alford, Basic City; William Alford, Jr., of Toomsuba; Ezekiel Alford, Meridian; one sister, Beatrice Powell and a special sister-in-law, Martha Alford, Toomsuba; six brothers, Paul Terrell, Sr., and Grady Terrell, Sr., Toomsuba; David Terrell, Sr., Pacoma, CA; Judson Terrell, Jr., Aurora, Ill; Bennie Terrell, Sr., and Ozie Terrell, Sr., Detroit, Micigan; 48 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Lt. Cmdr. Daisy Joyce Herrington, (Retired)

Memorial graveside services were held at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery Friday, October 21, 1994, for Lt. Cmdr. Joyce Herrington, retired, 60, who died September 30, 1994, in Orlando, FL.
Lt. Cmdr. Herrington was born in Quitman and spent her teen years in Meridian.
She served 20 years as a Navy nurse including one year inVietnam.
She is survived by a brother, Kenneth W. Herrington, sister-in-law, Evelyn Herrington; two nephews, a niece; a paternal aunt, Mattie Belle Keeton of Oak Ridge, TN; maternal uncles Curtis and Donnell Beckman of Quitman; and two aunts, Lola Hughes and Christine Lawter.
She was preceded in death by her parents Otto Herrington and Daisy Beckman Charnlis.
Ethel Perritt Sanders

Services for Ethel Perritt Sanders were held October 24, 1994, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Manassa Cemetery. Rev. Mark Thead and Rev. Johnny Mosley officiated.
Mrs. Sanders, 84, of Quitman, died October 22, 1994, at Archusa Convalescent Center.
Survivors include two sons, Allen Hines Perritt, Quitman; Lavelle (Pap) Perritt, Port Charlotte, FL; two sisters, Carrie Perritt, Quitman; Lorine Williams, Tampa, FL; a brother, Cleo (Bill) Hollingsworth, Tulsa, OK; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Emma Pearl Bedford

Services for Emma Pearl Bedford were held on October 19, 1994, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. V. P. Black and David Sargent, Ministers, officiated.
Mrs. Bedford, 90, of Quitman, died October 17, 1994, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Coats, Quitman and Lounette Bedford Hunt, Keiser, Ark.; three sisters, Ethel Herndon, Aberdeen; Audrey Pendergest, Ankorage, Alaska; and Mary Eason, Henderson, KY; seven grandchilren; 17 great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services for Lila Sellers Slay were held October 26, 1994, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery with Dr. John Stevens and Dr. Brian Scarbrough officiating.
Mrs. Sellers, 94, of Quitman, died October 23, 1994, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Franklin Slay, Quitman; a brother, Cicero Sellers, Quitman; eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Guy F. Fleming

Graveside services for Guy F. Fleming were held on October 18, 1994, at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
Fleming, 70, of Mobile, AL, died October 15, 1994.
He was a native of Carmichael and a resident of Mobile for 36 years. He was a member of the Zion Baptist Church in Mobile; a graduate of Ms. Southern University and received a Master of Arts from the University of South Alabama; was a retired school administrator and veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel Jean Fleming, Mobile; son, Jack V. Fleming, Monteno, Ill.; daughter, Kathy Fleming Whatley, Mobile; grandsons, Edward Fleming, Mobile; Lyn Fleming, Meridian; and Jason Whatley, Mobile; granddaughter, Natasha Yeager, Monteno, Ill; brothers, Frankie Fleming, Quitman; and Jim Fleming, Warner Robbins, GA; sisters, Elise Davis, Enterprise; Gloria McAdams, Mobile; and Tobie Day, Mobile.
