The Morning News, 12 Oct 1957Funeral services for Mrs. Ella H. Brown, 68, wife of Joseph Brown, 1608 Lancaster Avenue, will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow at the McCrery Funeral Home, 2700 Washington Street, where friends may call tonight after 7. Interment will be at Silverbrook Cemetery.Mrs. Brown died Tuesday night in Wilmington General Hospital after an illness of two weeks. Born in New Jersey, she had lived in Wilmington for 50 years. She was a member of the Jefferson Lodge, Independent Order of Reindeer.In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harold Williams, Wilmington, and Mrs. William Hahn, Easton, Pa.; a son, William T. Brown, New Castle; her mother, Mrs. William Whitton, Pittman, N. J.; two sisters, Mrs. Leonard Hering and Mrs. John Johnson, both of Glassboro, N. J., and two granddaughters, Miss Sandra Jean Hahn, Easton, and Miss Barbara Ann Brown, New Castle.
