Graveside services for Billy Earnest Harris were held May 16, 1995, at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Dr. John Stevens officiated.
Mr. Harris, 77, died May 14, 1995, at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Harris, Quitman; a son, Michael Harris, Meridian; a daughter, Barbara Porter, Jackson; a sister, Mable Baskett, Meridian; three grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Grady Williams

Funeral services for Grady Williams were held May 10, 1995, at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Meridian. Rev. Hermes Broadhead and Rev. Douglas Stone officiated.
Mr. Williams, 96, of Meridian, died May 8, 1995, at Broadmore Health Care. He was a life long member of Calvary Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Bernice Drewry, Texarkana, Texas; Terry Bozeman, Meridian and Laverne Harmon, Shreveport, La., a son, Ted E. Williams, Columbus; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Nephews in this area include Cleo Williams, James L. Williams, Charles (Buddy) Williams, and Horace Williams.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie B. Williams.
