Josey Mitchell Reynolds

Services for Josey Mitchell Reynolds were held May 6, 1995, at Northrup Chapel Baptist Church with burial in the Covington Cemetery in Clarke County.
   Mr. Reynolds, 59, of Quitman, died May 3, 1995, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.
   Survivors include his wife, Ruthie Reynolds, Quitman; three sons, Donnie Reynolds, Baton Rouge, LA; Terry Reynolds, Quitman; and Keith Reynolds, Laurel; a daughter, Nickie Mosley, Waynesboro; two brothers, Darrell Reynolds, Mobile, Ala.; Eugene Reynolds, Mobile, Ala.; two sisters, Erma Cosby, Mobile; and Hilda Richardson, Atlanta, Ga.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.


Myrtle F. Sims

Myrtle F. Sims, 83, of Elmer, N. J., formerly of Meridian, died May 4, 1995, at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County, Salem, N. J.
   She was born in Clarke County and lived in New Jersey since 1971. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Stonewall and was formerly employed as a weaver for Burlington Mills and retired in 1971 with 30 years of service.
   She is survived by two sons, Donald Sims, Bridgeton, N. J.; and Billy Ray Nicholson, Baker, LA.; daughter, Peggy V. Bunting, Elmer, N. J.; brother, L. A. Norsworthy, Dallas, TX; five sisters, Edna Ward, Meridian; Edith Dearman, Quitman; Dorothy Walker, Mesquite, TX; three grandsons, two granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.
   Services were held May 8, 1995, at Christy-Adams Funeral Home in Elmer, New Jersey, with burial in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery.


Doris Annette Byrd

Services for Doris Annette Byrd were held May 9, 1995, at Zion Rest Congregational Methodist Church with burial in the Zion Rest Cemetery. Rev. Douglas Feazell and Dr. Samuel K. Bruce officiated.
   Mrs. Byrd, 66, of Heidelberg, died May 7, 1995, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.
   Survivors include her husband, Wyatt Curtis Byrd, Heidelberg; a son, Charles Carter Driver, Heidelberg; two brothers, Wilton Lowery, Meridian; and Trilby Brashier, Heidelberg; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by a baby daughter.
