Elsie Baskett Davis

Graveside services for Elsie Baskett Davis were held April 16, 1995, at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Dr. Brian Scarbrough officiated.
   Mrs. Davis, 97, of Quitman, died April 15, 1995, at McNeil Personal Care Home in Enterprise.
   Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Vernon A. Roberts, Quitman; three grandchildren, Mrs. Rose Longwitz, John V. Roberts and Al Roberts; and five great-grandsons.


Laura Ruth Schaffer

Services for Laura Ruth Schaffer were held April 18, 1995, at Pine Hill Baptist Church with burial in the Pine Hill Cemetery. Rev. Roy Garrison officiated.
   Mrs. Schaffer, 87, of Enterprise, died April 14, 1995, at Riley Nursing Home Center in Meridian.
   Survivors include two sons, Warren Schaffer, Sebring, Florida; and Edward Schaffer, St. Petersburg, Florida; a daughter, Mary K. Kidd, Enterprise; 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Schaffer, Sr.; two sons, William M. Schaffer, Jr., Walker W. Schaffer, Sr.; two grandsons, David M. Goff and Jeff Bomba.


Lois E. Edwards

Lois Edward Kirby, 75, died of heart failure April 14, 1995, at Forrest General Hospital.
   Services were held April 17, 1995, at Hulett - Winstead Funeral Home with burial in the Shubuta Cemetery.
   Mrs. Kirby, a Shubuta native, lived in Hattiesburg since 1946. She was a graduate of Shubuta High School and Judson College in Marion, Ala. She attended the Episcopal Church of the Ascension.
   Survivors include a daughter Lee Kirby Cook, Atlanta; two sons, Bill Kirby, Hattiesburg and Jeff Kirby, Atlanta; a sister, Lu Holman, Ala., and five grandchildren.


Glen R. Martin

Services for Glen R. Martin were held April 10, 1995, at McClain - Hayes Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Henrys Chapel Cemetery in Neshoba County. Rev. Ray Luke officiated.
   Mr. Martin, 61, of Meridian, died April 7, 1995, in Crystal Springs.
   Survivors include three sons, Derrell R. Martin, Crystal Springs; Allen Martin and James Martin, both of Meridian; mother, Lillie Martin Cox, Philadelphia; a sister, Jane Mize, Meridian; and three grandchildren, Suzie and Leigh Ann Martin, Enterprise and Amanda Martin, Meridian.
   Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his father, A. J. Martin, Philadelphia.
   Serving as pallbearers were Norris Daniels, Cooper Tingle, Doug Frasier, Butch Shettles, Wayne Morgan, Roy Martin, Shannon Clark and Mack Alligood.


Zetha Mae Fagan

Services for Zetha Mae Fagan were held April 15, 1995, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev. Buddy Braddock officiated.
   Mrs. Fagan, 83, of Quitman, died April 14, 1995, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
   Survivors include five sons, Leon Franklin Fagan, James Earl Fagan, Luther Harold Fagan and Rodney Lamar Fagan, all of Quitman; and William T. Fagan, Minnesota; five daughters, Dorothy Mae Mars. Alice Ruth Reid, Ramona Odett Underwood, all of Quitman; Katie Rae Harris, Pascagoula; and Charlotte Hargrove, Lumberton; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
