Beppler, 35, of 2009 Temple Ave., was found dead in his apartment Saturday at 10:30 a.m. An autopsy determined that Beppler suffered from heart disease, but the investigation is continuing, according to Dr. Whitlaw Show, Lancaster County coroner.Born in Lancaster, Beppler was the son of Catherine Hess Frimd and the late Robert S. Beppler Sr.He was a member of the First Reformed Church, United Church of Christ. He was a 1965 graduate of Penn Manor High School and attended Stevens State School of Technology. He was most recently enrolled as a part-time student at Millersville State College.Beppler was a tile technician at Armstrong World Industries Inc. He served in the U.S. Army as a sergeant in the Signal Corps. He served in Vietnam for 13 months.In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, William H. Beppler, Norfold, Va. Other survivors include a step-father, G. William Frimd, Lancaster; a step-sister, Phyllis, wife of Robert Sanders, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and a step-brother, G. William Frimd Jr., Lancaster.
