Intelligencer Journal, 30 January 1960Robert S. Beppler, fourty-four, 329 N. George St., Millersville, an employe of the Lancaster office of the Social Security Administration for the past 14 years, died at 3:05 p.m. Sunday in Lancaster General Hospital where he had been a patient for the past seven weeks.Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late William H. and Ruth Sharp Beppler.He was a member of First Reformed Church, Lancaster, the Men's Bible Class, Men's Brotherhood and the Senior Choir of the church.He was a graduate of Lancaster Boys' High School and the Lancaster Business College. During World War II he was with the Adjutant General's office in Washington. He was a member of the Millersville Men's Club and the Millersville Fire Co.He is survived by his wife Catherine Hess Beppler; three sons, Robert Sharp Beppler Jr., William Hess Beppler, and Richard Franklin Beppler, all at home, and a sister, Ruth B., wife of Vincent P. Weaver, Lancaster.
