Matthew Meyer, Jr. (Jim) age 81 of Wilmington, DE died October 8, 2001 in Christiana Hospital.
   Mr. Meyer retired from General Motors in 1977 in Mechanical Maintenance, after 30 years service. He was a member of Holly Oak United Methodist Church and Eureka-DuPont Masonic Lodge #23-29.
   He is survived by his wife, Grace H. of 58 years; a son, James M. Meyer of TN; a daughter, Judith M. Bagdon of Wilmington, DE; a sister, Elizabeth McLaughlin of Wilmington; 4 grandchildren, James M. Meyer, Jr., Tamara E. Bagdon, David W. Meyer and Zachary J. Bagdon and 1 great granddaughter.
   Services will be Friday, October 12, 2001 at 12 noon at the McCrery Memorial Funeral Home, 3924 Concord Pike, Talleyville (south of Silverside Rd.), where friends may call 1 hour prior to service time. Interment will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
