Ruth Esther Davies (1888-1960)

Harlan, Mrs. Ruth E. -- Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth E. Harlan, 69, of 325 Bayshore Blvd., who passed away early Sunday morning in a local hospital will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 o'clock at the B. Marion Reed Co. Funeral Home, Plant Ave. at Platt St., with Dr. John B. Dickson, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Cremation will follow. She was a member of the Second United Presbyterian Church, New York City and the Order of Eastern Star, New York. Survivors include her husband, Mr. William T. Harlan, Tampa; a son, W. T. Harlan, Jr., Drexel Hill, Pa.; three sisters, Mrs. Diana Edwards, Tampa, Mrs. Rachel Yeager, Belmont, Calif., Mrs. Margaret Zahn, Port Loring, Ontario, Canada and two grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday evening from 7 to 9 P.M.
