Services for Merle Joyce Williamson Chisolm were held Saturday, April 5, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Enterprise Baptist Church with Rev. Macon Phillips, Rev. Taylor Wallace, and Rev. Drs. Steve and Debbie Chisolm officiating. Burial followed in Enterprise Cemetery with Wright's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
     Mrs. Chisolm, 80, of Enterprise, MS, died Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Wisteria Manor. She was born and reared in Neshoba County where she attended Mars Hill United Methodist Church and graduated from Zephyr Hill High School. She married Thomas R. Chisolm, Jr., in 1950, and they spent the majority of their 52 year marriage in Enterprise where they both worked with the school system. Mrs. Chisolm also worked for Dr. James Graham for 10 years. She was an active member of Enterprise Baptist Church where she served as Treasurer for more than two decades.
     She is survived by her son, Tommy Chisolm, and his wife, Cindy, of the Fellowship Community; her son, Steve Chisolm, and his wife, Debbie, of Red Oak, TX; and her daughter, Terri Smith, and her husband, Tommy, of Enterprise; grandchildren, T.W. Chisolm (Susie), Jenny Chisolm Simmons (Ryan), Melissa Chisolm Benedict (Tim), Sarah Chisolm Miller (Ray), Christopher Smith, Nicholas Smith, and Madison Smith; great-grandchildren, Gavin Chisolm, Annie Simmons, Lexie Benedict, Clara Benedict, and Abigail Miller; brothers, Joseph Williamson (Carolyn) and Sam Williamson; sister-in-law, Vistan Allen (Billy); and brothers-in-law, C.E. Chisolm (Sue) and Edwin Chisolm (Joyce); one aunt, and numerous special nieces, nephews, and cousins.
      Mrs. Chisolm was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Chisolm, Jr.; her daughter, Deborah Gail Chisolm; and her parents, Paul and Tressie Mae Williamson.
     Pallbearers were T.W. Chisolm, Christopher Smith, Nicholas Smith, Ryan Simmons, Timothy Benedict, and Ray Miller.
     Visitation was held Friday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home and 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.
