Clifton Robinson

Clifton Edward Robinson, 83, of Birmingham, AL, passed away on May 30, 2013, at St. Martins in the Pines in Irondale, AL.
     He was born on April 5, 1930. Clifton worked as a Postal Clerk for the United States Post Office. He was a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Army.
     Clifton is survived by his son, Warren Robinson; daughter, Cindy Robinson of Quitman, MS; two granddaughters, Whiney H. Robinson, Shannon N. Robinson.
     He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Jo Robinson, and his parents, Julius and Ada Robinson.
     Visitation was held at Wright's Funeral Home Quitman, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2013.
     Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at Odd Fellows Cemetery with Rev. Terry Ivy, officiating.
     Burial was held in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Jimmie C. Helms

Services for Jimmie C. Helms were held Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Enterprise United Methodist Church with Reverend Charles Waddall officiating. Burial followed in Enterprise Cemetery.
     Mr. Helms, 78, of Enterprise, MS, died June 1, 2013, at his home.
     Mr. Helms, retired from SONAT, was a lifelong farmer and active member of Enterprise United Methodist Church.
     Survivors include: wife of 58 years, Edna Lee Helms of Enterprise, daughters: Clara Ann Freeman of Enterprise, Denise Knighton and husband Johnny of Oxford, MS, Sandra Alexander and husband Bruce of Little Rock, MS, brother Charles Helms and wife Billie of Enterprise, seven grandchildren: Heather Hatcher and husband Ben, Jimmy Brian Freeman and wife Coty, Brent Freeman and wife Danielle, all from Enterprise, Nikki Williams and husband Evan, and Jonathan Knighton of Oxford, MS, Summer and Shae Alexander of Little Rock, MS, 11 great grandchildren, and special care giver and friend, Christine Taylor.
     He was preceded in death by parents, Rook and Velma Helms.
     In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to Enterprise United Methodist Church.
     Pallbearers were Steve Helms, Randy Freeman, Larry Murray, Andy Kersh, Danny Jo Jones and James Robert Kamper.
     Visitation was held Monday at Robert Barham Funeral Home.
