Bonnie Jean Carlisle, 60, of Pachuta, MS, passed away on April 10, 2015, at Anderson's Hospital in Meridian, MS.
She was a longtime faithful member of Pachuta Baptist Church and was avid in children's ministries. She was a loving wife, mother, and a fun-loving aunt who brought a smile to everyone she came in contact with.
Bonnie is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ricky Carlisle; son, Caleb Carlisle; honorary daughter, Ashley Higginbotham; brothers, Danny Smith, Lewis Howard (Jo) Smith, Jr., James (Jean) Smith, and Lewis Ray (Joyce) Smith; sisters, Marie (Don) Webster, Sylvia Rowell, Barbara Varner, and Mary (Tommy) Perkins, special friends, Betsy Irby and Marie Pierce; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Maudine Smith Fleming, and father, Lewis Howard Smith.
Visitation was held Saturday, April 11, 2015, after 5:00 pm at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, MS.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, April 12, 2015, 2:00 pm at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Powell, Rev. Dennis Coats, and Rev. Grady Crowell officiating. Burial took place in the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ed Smith, Jeff Smith, Jamey Smith, Jesse Smith, Mark Smith, Josh Smith, and Jason Varner.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude Childen's Hospital or your favorite charity.
