Jace Royce Woodall

Services for Jace Royce Woodall were held January 29, 1993, at Pine Grove Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Buddy Braddock officiated.
   Mr. Woodall, age 43, of Stonewall, passed away on January 27, 1993, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
   Survivors include his wife, Cathy Woodall, Stonewall; one daughter, Ashley Tew, Stonewall; two brothers, Paul Woodall, Lavell Woodall, both of Stonewall; two sisters, Mrs. Audrey Barnes and Mrs. Joyce James, both of Mobile, AL.


Maxine Stillwell Eifling

Services for Maxine Stillwell Eifling were held on January 26, 1993, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev. Russell LuQuire offiicated.
   Mrs. Eifling, age 88, of Quitman, passed away on January 23, 1993, at her residence.
   Survivors include one son, Robert Louis Eifling, Paris, France; three daughters, Jean Kinney, Torrance, CA; Mary Ford, Quitman; Aaronette Housley, Longview, TX; one sister Hattie Jo Stillwell, Humphrey, AK; twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.


Lois Watson Braddock

Services for Lois Watson Braddock were held on January 28, 1993, at Homewood Methodist Church with burial in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Rev. Joe Lofton officiated.
   Miss Braddock, age 70, of Meridian, passed away on January 26, 1993, at Meridian Nursing Center. Survivors include one sister, Lucille Watson, Union, and one niece, Willie Pilant, Waco, TX.


Cecil Odell Dew
The Clarke County Tribune
Services for Cecil Odell Dew were held on February 1, 1993, at Stonewall Assembly of God church with burial in the Stonewall Cemetery. Rev. C.A. Farmer officiated.
   Mr. Dew, age 78, of Stonewall, passed away on January 30, 1993, at Riley's Hospital.
   Survivors include two sons, Cecil Ray Dew, Stonewall; Larry David Dew, Bay Springs; one daughter, Deborah Akins, Quitman; three sisters, Lucille Hayes; Billie Jean Ivy and Estelle Cooper, all of Quitman; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
   He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Hamrick Dew.


Alton S. Kennedy
The Clarke County Tribune
Alton S. Kennedy, born and raised in Shubuta, passed away on January 17, 1993, after a brief struggle with lung cancer.
   He had lived in San Diego, CA, for many years and was a mail carrier there for thirty-three years before retiring three years ago.
   He was preceded in death by his parents, R.W. (Hooks) and Evelyn Kennedy.
   Survivors include two uncles, R. B., and J.R., Jr., Kennedy; aunt, Audrie (Kennedy) Hendrix and their families; aunts and cousins, including Leslie Walker, from his mother's family in California and Butler, AL; as well as a long-time friend, Kathleen Howell, in San Diego.
   Alton requested no services. Those who wish, may contribute to the American Lung Association.


Ray Edward Donald

Services for Ray Edward Donald were held on February 2, 1993, at Shady Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church, with burial in the Providence Cemetery. Rev. Mark Thead and Rev. Leslie Roberts officiated.
   Mr. Donald, age 76, of Shubuta, passed away on January 31, 1993, at Anderson's Hospital.
   Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ollie Mae Donald, Shubuta; one son, William Ray Donald, Waynesboro; one daughter, Mrs. Joyce Sumrall, Morton, MS; two brothers, Roy Donald, Quitman; and Robert Donald, Leona, TX; three sisters, Francis Lucas, Quitman; Grace Braswell, Missouri City, TX; and Mary Lou McAdams, Stafford, TX; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
