Walter Winston Cook, 74, of Quitman, Miss., died Oct. 27, at Laurel, Miss.
Funeral services were held Oct. 29 at 10:00 a.m., at Holder's church with the Rev. W.L. Meadows, pastor of the First Baptist church of Quitman, officiating. Burial followed in the Holder cemetery.
Mr. Cook is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Ezell, Laurel, Miss., and Mrs. Lizzie O'Neal, Ocean Springs, Miss.; two sons, R. G. Cook and John H. Cook, Quitman; a sister, Mrs. Ollie Stockman, Lake Como, Miss.; two brother, Will and Ed Cook, Bay Springs, Miss.; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Active pallbearers were John Waldrup, Ben Waldrup, Pat Landrum, James Burcham, Hulett Gables and William Giles.
McClellan-Walters Funeral Home in charge.
