Harlan L. Thompson, 53, of 317 Christian St., Lyndalia, died yesterday in the Wilmington General Hospital, where he had been a patient for the past three weeks.
   A native of Wilmington, he had been employed by the Bellanca Corp. for 22 years, and was secretary of that company when it dissolved. Mr. Thompson was a member of the Newport Methodist Church.
   He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Grace L. Mathews Thompson; a daughter, Mrs. William Black, Randolph, Va., a sister, Mrs. Roy G. Lynam, Gwinhurst; and three grandchildren.
   Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m., at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 24th and Market Sts. Interment will be in Lombardy Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow after 7 p.m.
