TAMPA, Fla. -- Roy G. Lynam, 87, of 4410 Wisconsin Ave., formerly of Wilmington, Del., died of a heart attack Sunday at home.
Mr. Lynam, who lived on Garfield Avenue in Gwinhurst for 45 years, owned the Wilmington contracting company Roy G. Lynam & Son for 25 years before moving to Tampa around 1970. He had been a member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, formerly in Wilmington, now in Hockessin.
His wife, Mildred E., died in July.
He is survived by two sons, Ralph W. and Robert H., both of Tampa; two daughters, Ruth Ethel Talley of Hayesville, N.C., and Mildred Ann Lambert of Wilmington; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial were Wednesday in Sunset Memorial Garden in Tampa.
