William Anderson Hayden was born on 27 December 1910 in Delaware. He died on 19 February 1961 in Wilmington, New Castle, Delaware from cerebral hemorrhage. He married Elinore Chambers on 22 July 1939 in Newark, Delaware.

Services will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m., at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, for William A. Hayden, 50, of 622 West Twenty-eighth Street.
He died unexpectedly Sunday night in Riverside Hospital. Interment will be private. The Rev. Paul R. Miller, pastor of Hanover Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight after 7.
Mr. Hayden was employed in the sales department of Frank W. Diver, Inc., and was previously employed in the Wilmington shops of the Du Pont Company. For many years he had a service station at Twelfth and Market Streets.
He was a member of the Hanover Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his widow, Elinore Chambers Hayden. Also surviving are his father, Abram Hayden of Wilmington; a son, William A., Jr., of Wilmington; a brother, Abram Hayden, Jr., of Brandywine Springs, and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth H. Eaton of Deerhurst.
