Elinore Hayden, 72, of 622 W. 28th St., died Tuesday in the Leader Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, where she had lived for a month.
Mrs. Hayden was the secretary of Security Storage Co. in Wilmington. She retired in the mid-1960s.
She was a member of the Wilmington Quota Club. She also was a member for 35 years of Hanover Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon. She was a graduate of Wilmington High School.
Her husband, William A. Sr., died in 1961. She is survived by a son, William Jr. of Wilmington, two grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hanover Presbyterian Church, 18th Street and Baynard Boulevard.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, 1708 Lovering Ave., Wilmington 19806.
