Services for Kosmar L. Jordan of Chesapeake, were held September 7, 1991, at the Sturtevant Funeral Home with burial in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. James E. Dorson officiated.
Mr. Jordan passed away on September 4, 1991, in his home.
He was born in Bessemer, Ala. He retired from the inside machine shop of Norshipco and had also retired as a Navy chief petty officer. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War and was a member of Disabled American Veterans and Fleet Reserve Association.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth C. Jordan; a daughter, Kathy Richardson; two sons, Robbie L. Jordan, Richard L. Jordan, all of Portsmouth; a stepsister, Elizabeth Hardee, Quitman; brother, James Jordan, Newton, Ka.; and five grandchildren.
William E. Risher

Services for William E. Risher, 70, of Chesapeake, were held on September 8, 1991, at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausolem, Suffolk with Rev. Craig Rustay officiating.
Mr. Risher passed away on September 5, 1991, in his home.
Mr. Risher, a Methodist, was born in Barnett, Miss. He was retired from Newport News Shipbuilding after 20 years and from the Navy after 21 years. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve and was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen Barry Risher; two daughters, Leslie Risher, Cheasapeake; Carolyn Carter, Brandon, Fla.; sister, Elizabeth Hardee, Quitman; stepbrother, James Jordan, Newton, Ka.
John Richard "Fed" Lowrey

Services for John Richard "Fed" Lowrey, age 56, of Shubuta, were held on September 14, 1991, at Center Ridge Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Jerry Doggett and Rev. Terry Goodman officiated. Wright's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lowrey passed away on September 12, 1991, at Wayne General Hospital.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Nathalene Harris, Shubuta and Mrs. Faye Carigill, Bryan, Texas.
