Services for Paulyne Carlson Terry, age 72, of 110 Bailey Avenue in Quitman, were held on Sunday, October 6, 1991, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Odd Fellow's Cemetery. Dr. Rex Yancey officiated.
Mrs. Terry passed away at McNeil Personal Care Home in Enterprise.
She was born in Quitman and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Quitman.
She is survived by a son, Roderick M. Terry, Baton Rouge, La.; brother, Robert C. Carlson, La Habra, Ca.; sister, Helen C. Dukes, Quitman; nieces, Sarah Elizabeth Daly, Las Alamos, N.M.
John Wall (Dr. Jace) Watkins

Services for Dr. John Wall (Jace) Watkins, age 75, of 106 S. Jackson Ave, were held on October 8, 1991, at First United Methodist Church with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev. Russell LuQuire officiated. Wright's Funeral Home Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Dr. Watkins passed away on October 5, 1991 at H.C. Watkins Hospital.
He was born in Quitman and was a member of the First United Methodist Church; member and past president of East Ms. Medical Assn.; member of Mississippi Medical Assn.; member of the Mississippi A & I Board under Gov. Ross Barnett. He was a Veteran of WW II, flight surgeon in the Air Force.
He graduated from the University of Mississippi and Emory University School of Medicine. He was a surgeon and family doctor for over 50 years.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah S. Watkins, Quitman; son, David Watkins, Memphis, Tenn.; daughter, Sally McLain, Mt. Arlington, N.J.; grandson, John Allen (Jace) McLain, Mt. Arlington, N.J.
