Mrs. Lawson, age 38, of Waynesboro, passed away on September 14, 1992, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro. She was born on February 6, 1954 in Mississippi.
Mrs. Lawson was employed at Hansons Scales at personnel manager.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. Ron Lawson, Waynesboro; one son, Joshua Nicholas Lawson; two daughters, Tekla Michelle Lee; Amanda Crista Lawson, all of the Strengthford Community; mother, Mrs. Gertrude Overstreet and father, Mr. Braze Overstreet of the Strengthford Community; one brother, Mr. Shelton Overstreet, Strengthford; and two sisters, Mrs. Retta Barnett and Mrs. Shelia Barnett, both of the Beat Four community.
Freeman Funeral Home of Waynesboro was in charge of arrangements.
James Hugh McGee

Services for James High McGee were held September 16, 1992, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Jackson with burial in Lakewood Cemetery.
Mr. McGee, age 80, a retired iron worker, passed away September 14, 1992, of cancer at River Oaks Hospital.
A Clarke County native, Mr. McGee had lived in the Jackson and Pearl area since 1935. He was a member of the Pearl Methodist Church. He was a mason and member of Forest Hill Lodge #613; was a member of Iron Workers Local #469 in Jackson and worked in construction for thirty-seven years before retiring at age 66.
He was the son of the late William O. and Minnie L. Covington McGee of Quitman.
Mr. McGee is survived by his wife, Lola; sons, James Gary McGee, Jackson; Robert McGee, Pearl; Bill Campbell, San Leandro, CA; daughter, Linda McGee Grant, Brandon; Sarah Ann Hope, Flower Mound, TX; Joan Lemmons, Tupelo and Brenda Balas, Albuquerque, NM; one sister, Geneva Bradley, Laurel; one brother, Joe McGee, Meridian; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services for Joseph Alexander McGee will be held on September 18, 1992, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev. Melvin Boles and Rev. Leland Goodman officiated.
Mr. McGee, age 86, of Rt. 3 Meridian, passed away on September 16, 1992, at Rush Hospital. He was a member of the Evangel Temple; native of Clarke County; retired farmer and road employee for Beat One in Clarke County.
He is survived by three sons, Billy McGee, Herman McGee and Charles McGee, all of Meridian; one sister, Geneva Bradley, Laurel; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Jacobs, age 74, of Rt. 4 Quitman, passed away on September 19, 1992. She was born in Mississippi and was a housewife.
She is survived by two sons, Mr. Darnell Jacobs, Haleyville, AL; Mr. Leonard Jacobs, Quitman; one daughter, Mrs. Dianne Bohannan Cullman, AL; one sister, Mrs. Doris Norman, Meridian; and six grandchildren.

Mr. Satcher, age 72, of 1301 44th Ave. Meridian, passed away on September 21, 1992, at Riley Memorial Hospital.
He retired with twenty years of service with the U.S. Army, retired with twenty years from Meridian NAS, member of VFW, American Legion and Wesley United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Garrett Satcher of Meridian; daughters and sons-in-law, Vikki and Danny Rainer, Meridian; Renee and Wade King, Lemoore, CA; Barbara and Paul Raley, Meridian; grandsons, Chad and Ryan Rainer; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Karen and Tony Norton; granddaughter, Paula Raley; sisters, Francis Betmarik, Reisterstown, MD; Jimmie Faye Boykin, Pensacola, FL; brothers, Benny Wayne and Lofton Satcher, both of Stonewall.
Serving as pallbearers were Bobby Sessions, Daryl Garrett, Ronnie Garrett, Jimmy Ray Garrett, Greg Garrett and Wayne Garrett.
