Mrs. Dora Alice Taylor, 74, of Rt. 3, Quitman, passed away Thursday morning, Nov. 10.
Funeral services were held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. from the Northrup Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Chatham, Rev. Jimmy Sanders and Rev. Jack W. Kinley officiating. Interment was in the Covington Cemetery with Walters Funeral Home in charge.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony Taylor; two daughters, Mrs. Kate Sowers of Rt. 1, Quitman, and Mrs. Susie May Arrington of Heidelberg, Germany; one son, William A. Taylor, Rt. 3, Quitman; five sisters, Mrs. J. K. Ivy and Mrs. Nora Cox, both of Rt. 1, Quitman, Mrs. Clarence Taylor of Rt. 2, Meridian, Mrs. Willie Mae Quimby of Hooker, Okla., and Mrs. Carret Cox of Boise, Idaho; three brothers, Henry Ivy, Rt. 2, Shubuta, Tom Ivy, Enterprise, and Shelby Ivy of Laurel; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
