   Services for Alice Ida Taylor Evans were held April 20, 2002, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Mike DePhillips, Rev. Dennis Kennedy and Rev. Jimmy Sanders officiated.
   Mrs. Evans, 80, of Quitman, died April 18, 2002, at her residence.
   She was born November 10, 1921, to Mary M. Smith and W.C. (Bill) Taylor.
   She was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and member of Clarke County Brotherhood.
   She is survived by two daughters, Mary K. McGary, Shubuta; Helen M. Green, Quitman; two sisters, Carrie (Tena) Dempsey, Reed, Ken.; and Billie McDonald, Shubuta; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
