Bill Dew was born on 6 March 1948 in Mississippi. He died on 14 April 1985 in Alabama. He is buried in Antioch Cemetery in Quitman, Clarke, Mississippi

   Graveside services for Bill Dew were held Sunday, April 13 from Antioch Cemetery with the Rev. T. E. Williams officiating. Wright's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
   Dew, 37, Eight Mile, Ala., died Sunday.
   Survivors include his mother, Daisy Dew, Meridian; eight brothers, James Dew, Shubuta, Johnny Dew and Jackie L. Dew, both of New Mexico, Preston Dew, Pearl, Donald Dew, Willie Dew and Bobby Wayne Lafferty, all of New Mexico, and Jerry Jones, Chunky; five sisters, Mrs. Mary Ann Thead, Meridian, Mrs. Elaine Reed and Miss Hilda Ann Dew, both of New Mexico, Mrs. Nellie Kay Shevers, Pearl, and Miss Renee Lafferty, Oklahoma.
