Hulon Foreman

NEWTON - Services for Hulon Foreman will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Rodney Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Cemetery.
   Mr. Foreman, 88, of Lakeside, Calif., formerly of Newton, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, in Lakeside. He was a member of Hickory Baptist Church. He is a veteran of World War II and Korea, having served in the U.S. Navy.
   Survivors include his sons, Tom Foreman and his wife, Robin, of Lakeside, and Terry Foreman and his wife, Brenda, of Ramona, Calif.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Melitus Gibbons of Meridian; and a brother, Pete Foreman of Hickory.
   He was preceded in death by his parents, H.D. and Tressie Harris Foreman; and brothers, Ed, Colber and Sam Foreman.
   Pallbearers will be Donald Foreman, Terry Foreman, Jeffrey Foreman, Kevin Foreman, Brian Foreman and Tom Foreman.
   Visitation will be held today from 4 p.m. -6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for A.T. "Winkie" Thrash will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Rob Gill officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
   Mr. Thrash, 82, of Meridian, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, in his home. He was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church, and he coached little league baseball for many years. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy.
   Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mavis Thrash of Meridian; a daughter, Patsy Ridinger of Meridian; grandchildren, Kim Ridinger of Tuscaloosa, Ala. and Casey Ridinger of Meridian; a sister, Peggy Gray and her husband, Clifford, of Huntsville, Ala. and Linda Cleveland and her husband, Wayne, of Brentwood, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by four brothers; a sister; and his parents, Oliver and Eva Thrash.
   Memorials may be made to Popular Springs United Methodist Church Building Fund.
   Pallbearers will be his nephews.
   Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Friendship Sunday School class.
   Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.


Nannie Louise Latimer

PHILADELPHIA - Services for Nannie Louise Latimer will be held today at 3:30 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service chapel with the Revs. Dr. Dan Howard and Dr. Eugene Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Cemetery.
   Mrs. Latimer, 89, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004 in her home.
   Survivors include her daughter, Nan Latimer Norton of Alexandria, La.; sons, Ike Latimer and William Latimer, both of Philadelphia; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, I.M. "Boy" Latimer.
   Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.


Francis S. Blada

Graveside services for Francis S. Blada will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Long Creek Baptist Church cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
   Mr. Blada, 86, of Meridian, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
   Visitation will be held Wednesday from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements were incomplete at Stephens Funeral Home for Laura Pryor of Meridian who died Saturday Nov. 27, 2004, at East Mississippi State Hospital.
