Herman Upton "Woody" Woodall
The Clarke County Tribune
Services for Herman Upton Woodall were held on May 30, 1994, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Dr. Brian Scarbrough officiated.
   Mr. Woodall, age 86, of Quitman, died May 28, 1994, at Restful Acres Nursing Home.
   Survivors include his wife, Martha Woodall, Quitman; two daughters, Martha Amelia Stapleton, Baton Rouge, LA; Francine Dikes, Hattiesburg; one sister, Mrs. Rosalie Melton, Louisville; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
   Mr. Woodall was a very active member of First United Methodist Church in Quitman where he served as secretary of administrative board for twenty-seven years; an active member of the Quitman Lion's Club serving as secretary for seventeen years and a member of the VFW.


Woodrow Wilson Haney

Services for Woodrow Wilson Haney were held May 31, 1994, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Doggett and Dr. John Stevens officiated.
   Mr. Haney, age 78, of Quitman, died May 29, 1994, at his residence.
   Survivors include his wife, Lillian G. Haney, Quitman; two daughters, Jackie H. Beard, Meridian; and Jean Deavers, Tylertown; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.


Gladys Victoria Murray

Services for Gladys Victoria Murray were held on May 30, 1994, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Rev. Billy Paul Feltman and Rev. Steve Nichols officiated.
   Mrs. Murray, age 73, of Iuka, died May 29, 1994, at Magnolia Hospital. She was a member of the Mt. Joy Baptist Church.
   Survivors include two daughters, Thelma Stephens of Burnsville, and Margie Prince of Corinth; three sons, Elmer Murray, Charles Murray and Douglas Murray, all of Burnsville; one sister, Orene Johnson Hill, Iuka; fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.


Stance Pearson
The Clarke County Tribune
Services for Stance Pearson will be held Thursday, June 2. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Mt. Mariah Baptist Church in Melvin, Alabama.
   Hayden and Butler Funeral Home in Lisman was in charge of arrangement.
