Services for Virginia Marie Nixon Burt were held June 26, 1995, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev. Glen McLeod, Rev. Jerry Griffin and Rev. James Davis officiated.
Mrs. Burt, 58, of Meridian, died June 24, 1995, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include a husband, Jessie (Billy) Burt, Meridian; two daughters, Teresa Darlene Boothe, Stonewall; Diana Davey, Charleston, Ms; sister, Linda Patrick, Quitman; and four grandchildren.
Mattie Mae Hayes

Services for Mattie Mae Hayes were held June 25, 1995, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the East Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Rev. James Irby and Rev. David Mills officiated.
Mrs. Hayes, 90, of Quitman, died June 23, 1995, at H. C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include two sons, Fairley Hayes and Wiley Hayes, both of Quitman; five daughters, Edith Moon, Audie Clary, Addie Lee Williams, Betty Smith and Charlotte Cook; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Monroe "Buster" L. Ezell

Services for Monroe L. Ezell were held June 23, 1995, at White House Baptist Church, Clara, Miss., with burial in the White House Cemetery in Wayne County. Rev. Mike Bourque, Rev. Norman Nowell and Rev. Terry Stepee officiated.
Mr. Ezell, 80, of Enterprise, died June 21, 1995, at Wayne County General Hospital in Waynesboro.
Survivors include four sons, James M. Ezell, Pensacola, FL; Johnny L. Ezell, Buckatunna; Donald Ezell and Houston Ezell, both of Houma, LA; three daughters, Annie K. Ezell, Dorothy A. Bascle and Carolyn Fryer, all of Houma, LA; 27 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, William A. Ezell, Buckatunna; a sister, Olie Pearl Clark, Waynesboro; 12 step-children and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Curtis Ezell and two sisters, Ada Mae Loper and Myrtle Mills.
He was a retired oil field worker after 10 years of service.
Jones Funeral Home in Richton was in charge of arrangements.
