Services for Clarence Grady Ivey were held June 30, 1995, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Stonewall Cemetery. Rev. Albert McMullen officiated.
Mr. Ivey, 81, of Stonewall, died June 27, 1995, at Benchmark Home Care Center in Marion.
He was employed with Mississippi Power Company for 30 years. Retired from the local office of Mississippi Power Company. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Stonewall, and a member of the Mason Wilson Lodge #72.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas M. Ivey, Meridian; Donald L. Ivey, Stonewall; a daughter, Brenda Morgan, Quitman; two sisters, Fannie Gunter, Jackson; Lamerle Hall, Biloxi; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Ruth L. Ivey and a son, Austin G. Ivey.
Atherton Clark Gossard

Graveside services for Atherton Clark Gossard were held July 1, 1995, at Magnolia Cemetery in Meridian. Rev. John Edwards officiated.
Mr. Gossard, 90, of Shubuta, died June 29, 1995, at Falling Creek Retirement Center.
He was a former resident of Meridian since 1935. He was a member of Central Methodist Church for over 50 years and served as Sunday school superintendent for 20 years as well as a member of the church choir. He was a Mason and very active in civic organizations.
Mr. Gossard served as superintendent of Horticulture Field Station of USDA near Marion until his retirement in 1965.
Survivors include a son, Edgar A. Atherton, Nashville, TN; two daughters, Lora Shephard, Quitman; Elizabeth Blum, Meridian; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Pauline Y. Gossard.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Falling Creek Retirement Center, Aldersgate Retirement Community or your favorite charity.
