The News Journal, 3 February 1962Funeral services for Mrs. Elsie Collins Haislett, 69, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Yeatman Funeral home, 819 Washington St., with interment in Wilmington and Brandywine Cemetery.Mrs. Haislett was found dead yesterday in her home at 10 W. Holly Oak Road, Gwinhurst. According to Dr. Phillip J. G. Quigley, state examiner, death was due to natural causes.A native of Wilmington, she was the widow of Howard C. Haislett. She was a member of St. Luke's Reformed Episcopal Church and St. John's Chapter, Order of The Eastern Star.Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn M. Osborn of Wilmington, and a grandson, David Osborn of Green Acres.The family requests that flowers be omitted. There will be no viewing.
