Mrs. Evelyn Mary (Haislett) Osborn, age 98, formerly of Green Acres, died 16th September 2014 at the Park Place Retirement Center in Hendersonville, TN.

   Mrs. Osborn graduated from the Homeopathic Hospital School of Nursing in 1937. After graduation, she worked part-time as a nurse at the infirmaries of both E. I. DuPont de Nemours & Co. and the Hercules Powder Co. She was a long-time member of the Memorial Hospital Nurses' Alumnae Association.

   Her parents, Howard C. Haislett and Elsie Collins Haislett, and her husband, Robert H. Osborn, who died in 1988, preceded her in death.

   She is survived by a son, David R. Osborn, of Hendersonville, TN.

   A graveside service will be held in Wilmington and Brandywine Cemetery, 701 Delaware Avenue, Wilmington on Monday, September 22 at 10:00AM.
