Hazel K. Owens, 79, of Meridian, died February 23, 1988 at Rush Hospital.
Services were held at 11:00, February 25, 1988 at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Wright's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial was at 1:00 p.m. at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Scooba.
Mrs. Owens is survived by one son, Cliff Owens of Bakersfield, California; three brothers, Harmon Knight of Quitman, E. E. Knight of Laurel and C. C. Knight of Dalewaood; and six grandchildren.
Calvin Melton Cox

Calvin Melton Cox, 64, of Stonewall, died February 26, 1988 at H. C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
Services were held February 28, 1988 at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Wright's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial was at Old Souenlovie Cemetery.
He was a member of Souenlovie Baptist Church and served on the USS Biloxi during WWII.
Mr. Cox is survived by his wife, Audrey Cox; three sons, Jerry Rich of Stonewall, Perry Rich of Huntsville, Alabama and Perry Lamar Rich of Enterprise; one daughter, Diane Boman of Meridian; four brothers, Richard Cox and Pete Cox of Quitman, Jack Cox of Coronado, California and Irby Cox of Lancaster, South Carolina; seven sisters, Velma Culpepper, Eula Thomas and Nora Williams of Quitman, Ruby Mosley and Catherine Mosley of Vossburg, Christine Poole of Huntsville, Texas and Polly Ray of Meridian; seventeen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Cassie McDaniel Ivey

Cassie McDaniel Ivey, 83, of Route 3, Quitman, died February 25, 1988 at Gericare Nursing Home in Quitman.
Services were held February 27, 1988 at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Wright's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial was at the Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Ivey is survived by her five sons, Ernest Ivey of Laurel, James Ivey of Quitman, Garland McDaniel of Coushatta, Louisianna, Pat Houston McDaniel of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and L.J. McDaniel of Vossburg; two daughters, Pat Dunagin and Mrs. Myrtle Tew of Quitman; one brother, A.L. McDaniel of Quitman; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Thomas Ray Fuller

Thomas Ray Fuller, 49, of Birmingham, Alabama, died February 26, 1988 at Baptist Montclair Hospital in Birmingham.
Services were held February 29, 1988 at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Wright's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial was at Stonewall Cemetery.
Mr. Fuller is survived by his wife, Mrs. Kathy Fuller; four sons, Don Allen Coleman, Steven Ray Coleman and Joseph Mark Coleman of Stonewall; two daughters, Mrs. Patrice Annette Green of Meridian and Miss Jeane Marie Fuller of Birmingham; mother, Mary Fuller of Birmingham; one sister, Mrs. Judy Lynn Cooley of Birmingham; and three grandchildren.
Lee Lamar Herrington

Lee Lamar Herrington, 80, of Route 3, Quitman, died February 26, 1988 at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
Services were held February 28, 1988 at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Wright's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial was at Odd Fellows Cemetery.
He was a member of VFW Post, Adams Chapel United Methodist Church and a life long resident of Clarke County.
Mr. Herrington is survived by his wife, Lucille Herrington; two sons, Jackie Herrington of Quitman and Everette Wayne Herrington of Jackson; two daughters, Tommye Jean Brent of Mobile and Bobby Lee Godwin of Theodore, Alabama; mother, Helen Herrington of Shubuta; two brothers, Larkin Justin Herrington and Larkin Dan Herrington of Heidelberg; four sisters, Willie Nored and Zoie Manning of Shubuta; Wilma Graham of Vossburg and Cecil Mae Mosley of Laurel; and thirteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Irva A. Williams

Irva A. Williams, 88, of Route 1, Meridian, died February 27, 1988 at Country Care Health Care in Meridian.
Services were held February 29, 1988 at Union Baptist Church with Wright's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial was at Union Cemetery.
Mrs. Williams is survived by one son, C. B. Williams, Jr., of Meridian; and five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
John L. Hayes

John L. Hayes, 88, of Route 2, Shubuta, died February 26, 1988 at Jeff Anderson Hospital.

Mr. Hayes is survived by his wife, Mrs. Grace Thompson Hayes; one son, Don Hayes of Meridian; one daughter, Mrs. Joyce Carol Clark of Gautier; one brother, Cecil (Bully) Hayes of Meridian; one sister, Mrs. Eula Z. Bunch of San Rafael, California; and three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
