Billie Brannon Dill

Services for Billie Brannon Dill will be held today at 10 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Carl White officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
     Mrs. Dill, 82, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, at Beverly Healthcare Center. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church, the Meridian Lions Club, the Garden Club and has served as a librarian at Highland Baptist Church. She also was an avid gardener.
     Survivors include her daughters, Scarlett McGee of Bourg, La., Vicky Bennett and her husband, Richard, of Houston, and JoAnne Massey and her husband, Pete, of Jackson; grandchildren, Todd Bennett of Houston, Delena Daniels and her husband, Robert, of Virginia Beach, Va. and Allison Massey Amilia Massey and Haley Massey, all of Jackson; a great-grandchild, Robbie Daniels of Virginia Beach, Va.; and sisters, Helen McGarrah of Columbus, Ga., Lindy Alexander of Newville, Ala. and Celia Lackeky of Toomsuba.
     She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Dill; and a sister, Lucille Spires.
     Memorials may be made to Lions and Miss Sight Foundation, P.O. Box 520668, Flowood, MS 39232.
     Pallbearers will be Richard Bennett, Todd Bennett, Pete Massey, Elwood Vick, Jerry Townsend and Lamar Smith.
     Visitation will be held today one hour prior to the service.

NEWTON - Graveside services for Minnie Ruth Dillard will be held today at 10 a.m. at Newton Masonic Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Felton officiating. James F. Webb Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
     Mrs. Dillard, 82, of Newton, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, at Riley Hospital. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Santa Maria, Calif.
     Survivors include her husband, Hinton J. Dillard of Newton; a brother, Robert Bruce and his wife, Pat, of Ridgeland and several nieces and nephews.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Eugene and Ruth Elizabeth Smith Bruce; sisters, Agnes Bruce, Elsie Shepherd and Stella Grover and a brother, William Bruce.
     Pallbearers will be C.B. Thompson, Charles Thompson, Mack Comans, Maxie Savell, Sam Bounds and Warren Peebles.

Clayton L. Dennis

PHILADELPHIA - Services for Clayton L. Dennis will be held today at 1 p.m. at McClain-Hayes Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Germany officiating. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Cemetery in Philadelphia.
     Mr. Dennis, 80, of Choctaw, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, at Choctaw Residential Center.
     Survivors include his sisters, Sue Lewis of Terry, Maureen Kemp of Carthage and Rachell Posey of Milton, Fla.; brothers, E.J. Dennis of El Paso, Texas and Bennie Dennis of Philadelphia.

James Edward Champion

BUTLER, Ala. - Services for James Edward "Pete" Champion will be held today at 2 p.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Fred Toomey officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery in Yantley.
     Mr. Champion, 50, of Yantley, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, in his home.
     Survivors include his sisters, Brenda Estes of Meridian, Miss, and Evelyn Taylor of Mobile; a daughter, Jamie Champion of Meridian; a brother, William Champion of Greenville; maternal grandmother, Myrtle R. Hendley of Butler and one grandchild.

Gloria McGee

PHILADELPHIA - Services for Gloria McGee will be held today at 3 p.m. at Goodway Baptist Church with the Rev. A.C. Rush officiating. Burial will be in Donald Rest Cemetery.
     Ms. McGee, 59, of Saginaw, Mich., formerly of Philadelphia, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, at Covenant Medical Center-Cooper Nursing Home.
     Survivors include her sons, James A. McGee and Christopher McGee; a daughter, Tara Wilson and her husband, Deon, all of Saginaw; a sister, Patsy Coleman and her husband, Kenneth; and a brother, Alvin Kidd, all of Philadelphia; and her mother, Lillie Mae Crockett of Philadelphia.
     Visitation will be held today from noon until 2:30 p.m. at the church.

Lottie McNair

PHILADELPHIA - Services for Lottie McNair will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. a McClain-Hays Funeral Service chapel with the Rev. Michael Gunter officiating. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Cemetery.
     Mrs. McNair, 92, of Philadelphia, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, in her home.
     Survivors include her husband, Delmos McNair; daughters, Sandra Fedrick and Peggy Jenkins; a son, Jimmy McNair, all of Philadelphia; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a sister, Nancy Courtney of Little Rock.
     Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Lurena Cameron, 87, of Quitman, who died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at The Specialty Hospital of Meridian.
