The Evening Journal, 20 May 1930Thomas J. Hume, aged 60 years, who lived with his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Herman E. First, at 712 West Twentieth street, died yesterday following an illness of one year from complications. Mr. Hume when in health was connected with the morocco industry. He was born and reared in Wilmington, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hume. He is survived by an only sister, Mrs. Frist.The funeral will take place from the home at 2 o'clock tomorrow after which the Rev. Robert Bell, vicar of Old Swedes church, officiating. Burial will be in Old Swedes cemetery.
