The Clarke County Tribune, 25 Feb 1977 Mrs. Cornelia Cox, 76, of 210 Long Blvd., Quitman passed away Feb. 22 at Watkins Memorial Hospital in Qutiman
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 24, at 2:00 p.m. at Souenlovie Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Patton and Rev. Ralph Smith officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Cox is survived by five sons, Jack Cox, Calamette, Calif., Richard Cox, Mobile, Ala., Irby Cox, Landcaster, S.C., Buddy Cox, Stonewall, and Pete Cox, Quitman; eight daughters, Mrs. Velma Culpepper, Mrs. Eula Thomas, Mrs. Nora Williams, Mrs. Ruby Mosley, Mrs. Pauline Ray, Mrs. Catherine Mosley, Mrs. Judy Lucas, all of Quitman, and Mrs. Christine Poole, Dallas, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Ola Taylor, Meridian; Mrs. Carett Cox, Idaho, and Mrs. Will Quimby, Columbia; 38 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
